The 2023 Patricia Loyd Handy Educational Essay Competition includes $500.00 scholarships to provide financial support to deserving Chicago metropolitan area 12th grade high school students and college freshmen students who desire to excel in their educational career.

Feds Feed Families Drive
NKHC accepted 176 can donations (156.7 pounds) for the 2023 Feds Feeds Families food drive! Feds Feed Families is a healthy food drive that helps our neighbors by providing them with nutritious options. A healthy food drive is the collection of foods, both canned and fresh when possible, that are high in nutrients, protein, or fiber. (Pictured above: Antionette Hall, FFF/NKHC Coordinator)
Ronald McDonald House Visit
This year we will visit the Ronald McDonald House on June 8, 2024. (Pictured left to right: Rochelle Marceillars, Tamela Martin, Honorable Dr. Ethel Crisp, Lashana Sims, and Donna Howard.) Chapter participation in a successful outreach activity at the Ronald McDonald House to prepare pre-Thanksgiving meals for the families on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Oak Lawn, IL,
